Baskir, Adrian

Adrian is the Chair of the IAA Health Section. He was born and lived most of his life in South Africa before moving to the UK at the end of 2008. He is Chief Actuary for Bupa International Markets having previously served as the UK Chief Actuary. His span of responsibilities include Pricing, Capital and Reserving in a significant number of countries around the globe focused on Medical Expense insurance. He is very active within the actuarial profession, having been a member of the IAAHS Committee for 7 years. He served as President of the Actuarial Society of South Africa in 2006/7 and was a member of the Council of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries for 3 years
