Etienne Marceau is full professor in actuarial science at Université Laval, a visiting professor at the Université Lyon, and an adjunct professor at McGill University. His teaching and research interests focus on various actuarial themes, including risk theory and dependence modelling. He is the author of a reference book on actuarial modelling and of more than fifty scientific articles. He has supervised 7 PhD and 27 MSc students. He is co-chair of the ACT&RISK research lab and associated editor of IME. He is member of the Quantact research lab and of three research groups (big data, applied mathematics, sustainable development).
