Fernanda is a graduated Actuary from the UNAM (National University of Mexico).
- She is interested in the Finance and Risk Management fields.
- She has created the Research and Risk Management area in VITALIS, a Private Pensions Company and Asset Manager in Mexico.
- Fernanda has recently become the first woman and the youngest member of the investments committee in VITALIS. In the overall, the Company manages around 500 M USD.
- She currently is the Vice Chairwoman of the AFIR-ERM (Finance, Risks and ERM) Section of the IAA.
- She has been a member of the CONAC (Mexican National College of Actuaries) since 2016.
- She has been a member of the PBSS (Pensions and Social Security Section) for more than 3 years and has been collaborating with the PBSS Section Chairman and with the PBSS Section Board ever since.
- Fernanda was a part-time Professor at the UNAM teaching Demographics, Financial Models, Insurance Theory and Risk Management for 3 years.
- She has been giving conferences around her topics of interest in different Colloquia, Seminars and Congresses.
- Finally, she actively participates in different social causes and has been actively involved in responsible investing.
