Andre has been at Discovery for 10 years and currently heads up the Global Vitality Network, a central strategic unit supporting the Group build the world’s largest behaviour platform linked to insurance – Vitality. The unit leverages the scale of Vitality globally, now in 20 countries, to build the Vitality brand through science and research; global partnerships and new technology assets.

More recently, the unit released the results of the largest study on physical activity in London through RAND Europe based on the Vitality Active Rewards with Apple Watch programme. The strength of the results were accompanied with a Pledge by the insurance network using Vitality (AIA, Ping An, Sumitomo Life, Generali, John Hancock, Manulife, Discovery) to make 100m people, 20% more active by 2025 using Vitality.

Prior to the Global Vitality Network, Andre was the Executive Associate to the Group CEO for 4 years and an Actuary at the Discovery R&D Lab. He is also a member of the BLSA Youth Policy Task Team.
